What We Don't Like About The Vallarta Palace There's really only one reason not to like the Vallarta Palace - it's distance from old town. Call it Riviera Nayarit (or Vallarta Nayarit or Nuevo Vallarta), the resort is a real hike from any of the nightlife or gay beach area. You'll be spending $25 a day (at least) in cab fares if you head into town.
What We Do Like About The Vallarta Palace The Palace is a top-notch resort located on a nice stretch of beach. Aside from being a quality hotel, the main reason to recommend the Palace is because both Olivia and Atlantis use this hotel for their all-lesbian and all-gay reosrt weeks. If you're looking for a luxury experience and if you're not planning to take advantage of Puerto Vallarta's gay life, this is a good choice.
