What We Don't Like About The Emperador The Emperador is a new addition to the hotels offered by Canadian tour companies and, frankly, we don't know that much about it.From what we can tell it looks pretty basic - definitely in the "cheap and cheerful" category.
What We Do Like About The Emperador It's location is the prime reason for including this hotel in our recommendations. It's also unique in that all rooms have kitchenettes, ideal for those who want to keep an eye on their diet. This property is being packaged by the same tour company which is offering the two gay hotels close by - the Abbey and the Blue Chairs. So we suspect that they are offering the Emperador as another alternative for gay and lesbian travellers. We're giving the hotel a 3 star rating for gay friendliness just because we haven't heard anything negative... so far.
