What We Don't Like About The Golden Crown Paradise The major drawback of this hotel is its distance from the old town. It's located right next to the cruise ship port, so you really need to take a cab to anwhere you might want to go. Adventurous souls can try one of the public buses that travel down the main road into old town, but you probably should allow for a chunk of change for taxis in your vacation budget
What We Do Like About The Golden Crown Paradise This is one of the nicer hotels in this part of Vallarta. It's relatively small, so you won't feel overwhelmed - and the staff will quickly get to know you. The rooms are generous and the views from almost all rooms are top notch. But there are two key reasons why we really like the Golden Crown - it's adult only and all meals are a la carte (that is, no buffets). Guests at this hotel also have privileges at the sister property next door.
