This new event is one of the very few sun weeks that is exclusively for lesbians. It's designed to give you maximum flexibility. All events are "pay as you go" so you can do as little or as much as you'd like. And with no host hotel you can choose the accommodation which best suits your style and your budget.
Choose Your Own Lesbian Adventure
Enjoy a week of fun filled activities like a day cruise and snorkeling, a comedy show by lesbian comic Maggie Cassella, a jungle canopy and ziplining adventure, surfing, dance parties, a pool party and fun on the beach.
Come and relax in a gay-friendly environment and have a great time. The week is designed so you won't feel overwhelmed and aren't stuck paying for events that don't interest you. Do as little or as much as you like. Maybe you're gung-ho for week chock full of lesbo events. Or maybe you just want to relax in the company of other women and not be too structured. Just have a great time and have a vacation that's perfect for you. Click here for a full list of what's line up for the week.
Getting There
Rainbow High Vacations and conxity.com are proud to be the official travel partners for the Puerto Vallarta Women's Week.
You have two travel options for PV Women's Week. You can either keep it simple and purchase a No Worry Package which includes your flight, hotel, transfers and (in some cases) meals and drinks at your hotel. Or you can build your own customized Do It Yourself Package. A DIY package is the way to go if all you need is a hotel or a flight and it's perfect if you want to create your own combination of flights and hotels which isn't available as a No Worry Package.
To help you plan to make the most of your week in the sun, check out the list of PV Women's Week events as well as conxGuide: Puerto Vallarta which has lots of practical information about this favourite gay destination.
No Worry Packages
These packages include round trip airfare between Toronto and Puerto Vallarta, 7 nights accommodation and transfers between the airport in Puerto Vallarta and your hotel. Check the descriptions below as some packages also include meals and drinks. None of these packages include entry to the paid PV Women's Week events which you can purchase at each event.
Package prices do change, so the price you see today may be higher (or lower) than the price you may see in another month. Generally, prices are lower the earlier you book as early booking discounts are often in effect. However, last minute deals may come up... but then again they might not. Some of these packages can sell out weeks or months in advance, so if your heart is set on a particular hotel we strongly recommend that you purchase it sooner rather than later.
To book or to check availability and prices for the PV Women's week No Worry Packages for departures from Toronto click on the button. A handful of these hotels are available as No Worries Packages from a couple of other cities. Either click here to do a search for departures from another city or give us a call at 800.387.1240. (All prices are in per person in Canadian dollars and are based on double occupancy - that is, two people sharing one room. Single occupancy rates are also available.)
Two hotels near Puerto Vallarta's gay beach are available as No Worries Packages.
The Abbey welcomes lesbians; however, most of the guests will be gay men and so the vibe there is decidedly male.
The San Marino, a mainstream hotel, is very popular with gay travellers because it's the one all-inclusive hotel close to the gay beach. Since the guests there aren't exclusively gay the hotel management can sometimes be a bit overly sensitive to public displays of affection. You'll be fine there so long as you use your discretion - as you would anywhere else.
No Worry Packages are also available with a number of other mainstream hotels we recommend. These resorts and hotels are in the main hotel zone and are close to the fun and events in the old town - so feel free to go with the hotel that suits you best.
The Abbey
An exclusively gay hotel
A small, moderate hotel where most guests are gay men. The Abbey is a block from the ocean and a short walk to the gay beach.
The San Marino
A moderate all-inclusive hotel
Cheap and cheerful, the San Marino is directly on the ocean and is a very short walk from the gay beach.
Full payment is required at the time of online booking.
If you prefer not to pay in full at the time of booking you have the option of paying a $250 per person deposit at the time of booking, with the balance due 45 days prior to departure. However, if you want to take advantage of this easy payment option you must make your booking by phone (800.387.1240 ext 224) or by email. A $25 per person service fee may apply to such bookings.
If you book less than 45 days prior to your departure date the full balance is due at the time of booking regardless whether you book online, by email or by phone.
Do It Yourself Packages
Create your own Women's Week package. It's the perfect way to go if you want to travel on specific dates or stay at a hotel that isn't available as a No Worry Package. You can also buy just the hotel or airfare - ideal if you've been lucky enough to use points for your flights or if you'll be staying with friends.
Flights
There are plenty of flight options to choose from. Click on the button to the right to check for the best lowest fares currently available between Toronto and Puerto Vallarta, departing on Friday November 7th and returning the following Friday, November 14th.
If you'd like to travel on other dates or from another city, click here to search for airfares and availability.
Hotels
These Hotel Only packages include 7 nights accommocation and applicable taxes. Check the descriptions below as some packages also include meals and drinks. None of these packages include entry to the paid PV Women's Week events which you purchase at each event.
Unlike No Worry Packages, Hotel Only package prices are pretty stable. Last minute deals are very rare, so there is no advantage to waiting for the price go down... it probably won't happen. Since some of these hotels can sell out weeks or months in advance, so if you're definitely interested in one of these packages you might as well book it now.
To book or to check availability and to confirm prices for Hotel Only Packages please email or call us at 800.387.1240, ext 223.
We are highlighting three hotels in the old town area, near Puerto Vallarta's gay beach.
The Abbey welcomes lesbians; however, most of the guests will be gay men and so the vibe there is decidedly male.

You'll be fine there so long as you use your discretion - as you would anywhere else.
The Tropicana, another mainstream hotel, has long been a favourite with gay men because of its proximity to the gay beach.
Hotel Only Packages are also available with a number of other "mainstream" hotels we recommend. These resorts and hotels are in the main hotel zone and are close to the fun and events in the old town - so feel free to go with the hotel that suits you best.
The following prices are PER PERSON based on a check in on
November 7, 2008 and a check out on November 14, 2008. (Please note that note that in some cases the all inclusive price is less than the price without meals and drinks. This is not a mistake - it's just one of the quirks of the hotel business. Go figure...)
