February 20 (Saturday)
Launch as Rainbow flag raised above Sydney Town Hall
Feburary 21 (Sunday)
Fair Day at Victoria Park (free event; 50,000 expected)
February 26 (Friday)
Queer Thinking, a day of debates, discussions and entertainment involving major gay thinkers, writers and artists from all over the world.
February 27 (Saturday)
Mardi Gras Parade, followed by a new event for over 10,000 people (details to be announced in early November)
February 28 (Sunday)
Harbour Party (5000 people at the Royal Botanic Gardens)
March 1
(Monday)
Mardi Gras Pool Party at the fabulous Ivy Pool Club; also a huge public art event (details to be announced in early November)
March 2 (Tuessday)
Mardi Gras event at Manly Beach (with free volleyball)
March 3 (Wednesday)
A
beautiful dinner at Sydney’s famous Taronga Zoo
where visitors can dine in style opposite the Opera House and hear about the gay animals at the zoo!
March 5
(Friday)
Drag Races at Bondi Beach followed by a dance party at the world famous Bondi Surf Life Saving Club (the oldest of its kind in the world)
March 6 (Saturday)
Mardi Gras Party (15,000 plus with superstar DJ David Guetta headlining)
March 7
(Sunday)
Official recovery party ends the Mardi Gras festival (details to be announced in November)
